Pros: It's a really interesting place to work on machine learning projects. The work itself felt stable once you were on a project. Being remote from Austin, TX was a big plus for work-life balance.
Cons: Job security is a concern for AI startup employees. There's always talk about funding rounds and runway. Reorgs happened a bit too often, which makes you wonder about your role long-term.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent about the company's financial health. It would help ease some of the anxieties around job security, especially for those of us in technical roles.
