Pretty standard corporate setup, low flexibility
Pros: You get a stable job here in the manufacturing industry. The onsite team in the Jakarta office is generally supportive, which helps when you're always there.
Cons: Work flexibility is tough for a Production Supervisor. Don't expect any work-from-home or hybrid options, it's strictly onsite. It makes dealing with personal stuff really hard during the week.
Advice to Management: Consider modernizing some policies around work flexibility, even if it's not full remote. Maybe compressed workweeks or more understanding for appointments for key roles.

Okay Work-Life for Sales, Can Be Demanding
Pros: As a Sales Executive in the paint and coatings industry, I've had pretty consistent working hours most days. Weekends are generally yours, which is a big plus for personal time.
Cons: However, hitting those monthly sales targets means sometimes working long hours, especially at quarter-end. Being an onsite role in Jakarta traffic can make an 8-hour day feel much longer, cutting into personal time.
Advice to Management: Consider more realistic sales targets or better support for our Sales Executive team to help manage the workload, especially with travel and client visits.

Work-life balance is a real challenge here
Pros: The team in the Jakarta office is pretty solid, and you learn a lot about the paints and coatings industry. As a Technical Sales Representative, there's good client interaction, which keeps things interesting.
Cons: Work-life balance can be really tough. You're often expected to work past normal hours, and sometimes even on weekends for big projects. It feels like your personal time isn't always respected.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for work hours, especially for sales roles. Encouraging true hybrid work options could really help boost morale.
