Pros: The marketing team is super collaborative, which was great for learning the ropes in the consumer goods industry. We had a pretty solid hybrid work setup too, coming into the Chicago office a few days a week. It wasn't a grind.
Cons: There's not much of a clear promotion path for junior roles here. I felt stuck without real career development opportunities. It's tough to move up beyond the entry-level for Marketing Specialists.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to create clearer career paths and offer more structured career development programs, especially for those in entry-level marketing roles. Invest in growth.

Pros: As a Marketing Specialist in the San Francisco office, the base salary was pretty competitive, around $80k. The health insurance coverage for a mid-sized corporate is solid, which is a big plus.
Cons: However, the 401k match is only 2%, which feels really low these days. There aren't many opportunities for performance bonuses in cosmetic marketing, so your salary is pretty much it.
Advice to Management: Management should seriously look into improving the 401k matching program. It would really help with employee retention and overall morale for those of us in the San Francisco office.
