Pros: There's a push for a hybrid model, which is a start for a large global company like Electrolux. For some project-based roles, you can get a couple of days remote. It's better than being fully onsite five days a week in the Charlotte, NC office.
Cons: Work flexibility here is pretty tough for most. Even with the hybrid push, many teams still expect you onsite most days. It feels like the appliance manufacturing industry is a bit slow to adapt, and fully remote or flexible hours are rarely an option for many functions, even when the work could easily be done from home.
Advice to Management: Really commit to the hybrid model or offer more flexible work arrangements. Other corporate environments in consumer durables are doing it better. Trust your employees more with their time.
