Okay Pay, But Benefits Could Be Better
Pay is okay for a marketing agency, but the benefits really need some work. It's a fully remote setup, which is great, but the lack of a decent 401k match and competitive health plans makes it hard to recommend for long-term career growth if benefits are a big factor for you.
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, the base salary was pretty solid for a smaller marketing agency. Being fully remote was a huge perk and helped a lot with work-life balance. You don't get that flexibility everywhere.
The health benefits package really wasn't competitive, especially compared to what you see at other places. There's also no 401k match, which is tough for long-term savings. It felt like they skimped here.
Seriously look at improving the benefits package, especially healthcare options and adding a 401k match. It's becoming a major reason employees leave and it helps attract top talent to a remote marketing agency.
