Onsite roles, not much flexibility for agents
Pros: The resort itself is gorgeous and you get to meet a lot of interesting international guests. It's a stable job in Ubud and the team is generally pretty solid. Good for learning guest services.
Cons: Work flexibility is tough here. As a Front Desk Agent, you're pretty much stuck to set shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Don't plan on working remote; it's an onsite role, no exceptions. Swapping shifts can be hard.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more options for shift swaps or a little more heads-up on scheduling changes for Front Desk Agents. A bit more flexibility would go a long way for morale in the hospitality industry.

Solid job security for hospitality roles
Pros: The best part is job security here. As a Spa Therapist at this luxury resort, there's always work. The tourism sector in Ubud, Bali keeps us busy with consistent bookings.
Cons: Pay isn't great for the cost of living. There's not much room for career growth beyond my current role. Work-life balance can also be a struggle with the long shifts common in the wellness industry.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing compensation packages to be more competitive with the rising cost of living in Bali. Also, try to implement clear pathways for career progression for dedicated employees.

Not Much Flexibility for Hospitality Roles Here
Pros: The team here in Ubud is really supportive. We got decent tips from guests, which helps with overall compensation for Spa Therapist roles. It's a beautiful place to work onsite.
Cons: Work flexibility is tough. My schedule was pretty fixed, so it was hard to swap shifts or get time off for personal stuff. For a luxury resort in the hospitality industry, I thought there'd be more understanding for employees.
Advice to Management: Maybe look into rotating shifts or a more flexible scheduling system for Spa Therapists. It would really boost morale and help with employee retention in this competitive industry.
