Positive Experience in Product Development
Pros: Danone offers a supportive environment for Product Development Scientists. I appreciate the hybrid work arrangement in White Plains, NY. It's a stable company in the food & beverage industry with good learning opportunities and a focus on health and sustainability. Colleagues are great.
Cons: Approval processes for new products can be slow. Occasional intense project periods impact work-life balance. Communication within the large corporate structure could be more streamlined.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining approval processes for new initiatives to empower teams more effectively. Also, consistent communication regarding project scopes could help manage workloads better during peak periods.

Great Culture and Learning Opportunities at a Stable CPG Company
Pros: I've had a great experience as a Marketing Specialist at Danone. The company culture is really supportive, and my colleagues are fantastic – it's a very collaborative environment. There are good opportunities for learning and development, and I feel like I'm always growing professionally within the Food & Beverage industry. It's a stable company, which is a huge plus.
Cons: While I really enjoy working here, career progression can sometimes feel a bit slow, especially for mid-level roles. There's also the occasional busy period, which is common in the CPG industry, but it can be a lot. Communication from upper management could also be a bit more consistent sometimes.
Advice to Management: Continue to focus on transparent communication from leadership and explore ways to accelerate career pathing for dedicated employees.

Decent pay, but work-life balance is tough
Pros: I've learned a ton in my Associate Brand Manager role here. The hybrid model is good, letting me work from home a few days. My team is generally supportive, which helps when retail deadlines get crazy.
Cons: Honestly, the work-life balance for CPG marketing roles can be pretty demanding. Long hours are common, especially around product launches. It's a big corporate environment, so things move slow but expectations are always high.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workloads, especially for junior roles like Associate Brand Manager. Help teams set more realistic expectations around product launches.
