As a Production Planner at Amcor, I've found the pay to be decent for the packaging industry, but the benefits package is where they really shine. It's a large corporate environment, so things are structured and stable, especially for onsite work in our Chicago office.
The 401k match is pretty good, a real solid benefit for manufacturing roles. The healthcare plan is comprehensive and covers a lot, which is a huge plus. It's a decent setup overall.
