Great Environment for Learning and Stability
Pros: Working at Epiroc as a Product Specialist in Denver, CO, has been a solid experience in the industrial technology sector. I've really appreciated the focus on employee development; there are always training opportunities to keep up with the latest mining equipment innovations. The team here is incredibly supportive, and I learn a lot from my colleagues daily. It's a stable company with a global footprint, which brings interesting projects and a sense of job security.
Cons: While the company culture is generally positive, the promotion process can feel a bit slow sometimes, especially when you're looking to advance quickly within the organization. Also, being part of such a large, global company, getting approvals for new initiatives or changes can take longer than I'd like. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to be aware of.
Advice to Management: Continue to streamline internal approval processes to empower teams and speed up execution. Also, clearer career pathing and perhaps more frequent performance reviews could help employees see their growth trajectory more explicitly.

Solid place, but work-life balance can vary.
Pros: You get decent benefits and the pay is competitive for engineering roles in this industry. Some teams really promote a good work-life blend, and it's nice to be part of a large global company that has structure. They offer hybrid work which is a plus for flexibility.
Cons: Project deadlines can get really intense, especially in the construction industry division. It often means longer hours and being tied to the Denver, CO office more than I'd like. It's not always easy to truly disconnect, especially when dealing with critical mining equipment issues.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize workloads across different teams and departments. More support during peak project times would help prevent burnout for Mechanical Engineers and other technical staff.

Hybrid Model Is Decent, But Could Be Better
Pros: As a Supply Chain Analyst, I appreciated the hybrid model offered. It was nice to work remote a couple days a week from the Denver office. This flexibility helped a lot with personal appointments.
Cons: For many roles, especially in manufacturing operations or field service within the mining industry, it's pretty much all onsite work. There's not much wiggle room for them. The policy isn't super consistent across all departments either.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize flexibility policies where possible. Look for ways to offer more remote options even for some traditionally 'onsite' roles when practical. Consistency really helps.
