Pros: You get to work on some pretty big mobile games. The campus itself is really modern and has solid amenities, which is nice for an onsite work environment. As a Senior Game Designer, there's definitely a chance to impact projects if you push for it.
Cons: The company culture here can be really intense. There's a lot of pressure, and work-life balance for game development roles isn't great, especially closer to launch. It often feels like you're just another cog in a big tech machine.
Advice to Management: Try to balance the intense production schedule with employee well-being. A less cutthroat environment would really help retention in game development.

Pros: The pay and benefits are actually pretty good, especially for the video game industry. You work on high-profile projects. As a Game Developer, the team support is solid when things get crazy.
Cons: Work-life balance is a real struggle here. Expect frequent crunch times; it's an onsite culture with long hours. It's tough to have a personal life outside of work.
Advice to Management: Try to reduce crunch periods and respect personal time more. Help teams manage scope better on projects.

Pros: Some team leads are really solid and genuinely care about their people. You can find good mentorship for junior game development roles if you get lucky with your manager. It's a big tech company, so resources aren't an issue.
Cons: Upper leadership often feels super disconnected from the day-to-day game production grind. Decisions come from way up high, with hardly any input from us on the ground. This leads to frustrating project pivots and way too many long hours for the onsite teams.
Advice to Management: Listen more to the actual game development teams. Get feedback from the people who are really building the games before making big strategic changes. This would help boost morale and cut down on crunch time a lot.
