Pay is Solid, Benefits Need Work
Pros: As a Software Engineer working remotely, the base salary here is pretty competitive for the fintech industry. They do a solid job with 401k matching, which is a big plus. It's a decent setup for WFH employees in payment processing.
Cons: Health insurance premiums are kinda high, especially for families. There isn't much room for significant annual raises; it's mostly tied to promotions. The other benefits just feel a bit standard for a mid-sized company.
Advice to Management: Look into lowering health insurance costs for employees. Consider a more structured annual merit increase program beyond just promotions to better retain talent in payment processing roles.
