Pros: The company generally supports a hybrid work model, usually three days in the Manchester office and two WFH. For roles like a Marketing Manager, this setup is pretty standard in the FMCG industry. It's nice to have those couple of days at home.
Cons: True remote work isn't really an option for most positions, so if you're not near an office, it's tough. Sometimes it feels like there's not much trust given for working outside the office. International teams mean evening calls even on WFH days.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more flexible remote options for experienced staff. Trust your teams more with their work arrangements, especially within the marketing department.
