Decent for now, but watch the workload
Pros: The hybrid model is a big plus. It's nice to have some flexibility, especially in the Chicago office. Most days I can hit my 40-hour week. You get decent benefits for the insurance brokerage industry.
Cons: Work-life balance can really swing. As an Account Manager, client accounts often mean late nights. There's pressure, especially during renewal seasons, that can make it tough to disconnect.
Advice to Management: Try to better distribute workloads among Account Managers. Support teams could also use more resources to ease the pressure on client-facing roles.

Decent Place, Culture Varies by Team
Pros: The team I worked with as a Client Service Representative was super supportive, which made a big difference. You get solid benefits and there's good opportunity to learn the ropes in the insurance brokerage industry.
Cons: The overall company culture can feel a bit corporate and sometimes rigid, especially in the Chicago office. Work-life balance can be tough when clients are demanding, which leads to longer hours.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize culture across different departments and offices. More emphasis on work-life balance would really help retain good people, especially for client-facing roles.

Pay is fine, benefits could be better
Pros: The base salary as a Client Service Representative was decent, especially for an entry-level position in the insurance brokerage space. The 401k match is a solid perk and vests pretty quickly.
Cons: Don't expect huge bonuses; they're often disappointing. The health insurance costs are really high, which eats into your paycheck more than it should.
Advice to Management: Review the bonus structure to be more competitive for all employees. Also, explore options to lower employee health insurance contributions.
