Pros: You get some flexibility for desk work, which is nice for report writing or data analysis. They do offer a hybrid model if your tasks allow it, letting you work from home a couple of days a week when you're not in the lab. The PTO policy is pretty decent for a large corporate environment.
Cons: True work flexibility is tough as a Research Scientist, especially with all the lab-heavy roles. You're expected to be onsite for experiments, which limits any real WFH options. It's definitely less flexible than other industries if you're not client-facing or fully remote.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more clarity on work-from-home policies for roles that don't require constant physical presence. Also, consider staggered hours for lab teams to improve work-life balance in the pharmaceutical industry.

Pros: It's a pretty stable company in the pharmaceutical industry, which is good. My team in the Princeton, New Jersey office was generally supportive. We could sometimes adjust meeting times for territory management, but it wasn't a frequent thing.
Cons: Work flexibility isn't really a thing for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative here. You're expected onsite most days, which makes personal appointments tough. WFH options are basically nonexistent for this role, which is a real downside.
Advice to Management: Consider offering hybrid options for sales staff where possible. Even a day or two remote a week would help with work-life balance and improve retention for roles like Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. It would make a big difference.

Pros: As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative in the Princeton, NJ office, the base salary was pretty solid. You get decent health insurance too, which is a big plus in the pharma industry. It's a stable corporate environment for sure.
Cons: The bonus structure felt almost impossible to hit most quarters, which impacted total compensation. Paid time off isn't super generous compared to other companies. The 401k match was also just okay, not competitive.
Advice to Management: Rework the sales bonus structure to be more achievable and consider increasing the 401k match to attract and retain talent.
