Pay is just okay for IT Consultant roles
Pros: The base salary for IT Consultant roles is pretty standard for the Utrecht area. We get a good pension plan and a decent company car. These benefits help make the overall compensation package passable.
Cons: Annual raises are often really small. It feels like they don't value loyalty much in the IT services sector. Negotiating a higher salary after a few years is tough.
Advice to Management: Review the salary bands more frequently. Reward long-term employees with more substantial raises to improve retention, especially in this competitive IT industry. It really makes a difference.

Culture's okay, some good, some not so much
Pros: I liked the team vibe for IT Consultant roles. Everyone's pretty supportive, especially during those tricky digital transformation projects. The hybrid model helps with work-life balance too, giving some flexibility.
Cons: Company culture feels a bit inconsistent across different departments in the Utrecht office. It's a mid-sized tech company, but communication from upper management can be pretty spotty. Can feel like your feedback doesn't always go anywhere.
Advice to Management: Work on making communication more consistent from leadership and ensure the company culture is uniform across all teams, not just pockets.

Decent stability for software engineering roles
Pros: I've been here a few years now, and the company seems pretty stable. They have a solid client base in the IT consulting industry, so projects keep coming in. It feels pretty secure here, especially for core software engineering roles.
Cons: Sometimes I worry about how fast things move; certain newer tech stacks feel less secure. There isn't always clear communication on future projects, which can be a bit unsettling. It's not a hyper-growth startup, so don't expect rapid promotions.
Advice to Management: Management should work on clearer communication about long-term company direction and create more defined paths for career advancement. Investing in new tech training could also help keep talent engaged.
