Great place for career growth in tech.
Pros: I've been a Software Developer here for a while and it's a pretty good spot for anyone in the IT services industry. The team is really supportive, and I've learned a ton from my senior colleagues. There are always new projects that keep things interesting, allowing for solid skill development and career growth. I appreciate the focus on continuous learning, which is fantastic for a hybrid work setup.
Cons: Sometimes, the internal approval processes can feel a bit slow, especially for larger projects or new initiatives. It can hold things up and impact project timelines occasionally, which is a minor frustration.
Advice to Management: Streamline some of the internal approval workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce project delays.

Pay is okay, benefits need a boost
Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer here is pretty decent for the Bengaluru tech industry. I appreciate the solid EPF contributions too, which is a good perk.
Cons: However, the overall healthcare package isn't great compared to other mid-sized tech companies. Annual bonuses feel a bit arbitrary and aren't always what you'd expect, especially in this hybrid model setup.
Advice to Management: Focus on enhancing the non-salary benefits, especially healthcare and the predictability of annual incentives. This would really help with retention.

Leadership at Euphoric: Some Bright Spots, Many Challenges
Pros: You'll find some really strong technical talent among the senior leadership. They're usually approachable for coding questions. For us software development folks in the Bangalore office, it's a decent place to learn specific coding patterns.
Cons: Decision-making can feel super slow, especially for big projects. There's often a lack of clear strategy from the top, which impacts project timelines. It's tough to get consistent feedback on career growth too.
Advice to Management: Work on improving overall project visibility and communication. Set clearer goals for teams and individual contributors. Empower middle management more.

Work-life balance can be tough for engineers
Pros: The pay is decent for a mid-size tech company in Bengaluru. There's a solid team spirit among fellow Software Engineers, which helps when projects get intense. We do have some hybrid work flexibility, which is nice on quieter weeks.
Cons: Work-life balance is a real struggle, especially during critical project phases. As a Software Engineer, you often put in long hours, pushing past 50-hour weeks consistently. It's hard to switch off with constant pings, even for hybrid work arrangements.
Advice to Management: Managers need to really enforce boundaries and protect their teams from burnout. More realistic project timelines would help a lot.

Hybrid model isn't very flexible, unfortunately.
Pros: I liked the team and project managers in the Bangalore office. Our software development team worked well together. The initial training for new Software Engineers was solid.
Cons: The 'hybrid' model isn't truly flexible. You're mandated to be onsite four days a week. This makes work-life balance really tough. For a software development role, this rigidity feels unnecessary. It's hard to manage personal appointments.
Advice to Management: Really look at the hybrid model. If you want to retain good talent, especially in software development, you need to offer real work-from-home options or true flexibility, not just mandated onsite days.
