SAMI-AEC has been able to acquire significant technical knowledge through its emphasis on the development of comprehensive Engineering & Development (E&D) capabilities and the establishment of partnerships with international companies. Pros: It's a stable job in defense electronics. For a Hardware Engineer, the work is often interesting. You can count on standard 8-5 workdays in the Riyadh office.
Cons: There's really almost no work flexibility. Most roles are strictly onsite, even if some tasks could be done remotely. It's tough if you need to manage personal appointments during the week.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more hybrid work options for roles where it makes sense. It would really help with employee morale and retention, especially with other companies offering more flexibility now.
