Okay for work-life, can be tough sometimes
Pros: You get some flexibility if your manager is good. As a Logistics Coordinator, I could usually leave on time when things weren't crazy. The team at the Melbourne depot is often supportive when you need help.
Cons: Work-life balance can really swing. During peak transport schedules, it's normal to work longer hours. Overtime isn't always approved, so sometimes you're just pushing through to finish the job.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize workloads across teams. More support during peak times would really help prevent burnout in the logistics industry.

Okay Pay, Benefits Could Be Better
Pros: As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, the base salary was pretty solid and competitive for the Melbourne area. They do a good job with superannuation contributions, which is important for long-term planning in the Australian supply chain industry.
Cons: Beyond the base pay and super, the other benefits aren't really standout. Things like health insurance or other perks felt pretty basic, especially for an onsite role. There's not much in terms of performance bonuses either.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing the broader benefits package, beyond just salary and super. Offering more competitive health benefits or performance incentives could really boost morale for roles across the logistics sector.

Decent Work-Life, But Can Get Busy
Pros: As a Logistics Coordinator, I've had some decent stretches of 40-hour weeks. The team here in the Melbourne office is pretty supportive and we try to cover each other. There's an effort for work-life balance, especially compared to other transport companies.
Cons: However, it's a corporate environment, so deadlines can pile up fast. Sometimes you just can't avoid working extra hours, especially during peak seasons. The work flexibility isn't always there when things get really hectic; it's a demanding industry.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage peak period workloads and consider more flexible remote options for office staff when possible. It would really help with employee retention.
