Hybrid model helps for logistics coordinators
Pros: As a Logistics Coordinator, I've found some decent flexibility here at CEVA Logistics. It's nice to manage personal appointments without too much hassle. The hybrid model definitely helps improve work-life balance for those of us in the office.
Cons: The hybrid work isn't consistent across all teams or even within departments. For some supply chain roles, you're pretty much always onsite, which can be tough. It's not a true remote setup, just 2-3 days WFH, if you're lucky.
Advice to Management: Standardize the hybrid policy across all eligible roles. Offer more clear guidelines for work from home days to avoid confusion and perceived unfairness among teams.

Decent work-life balance for supply chain
Pros: The hybrid work model really helps. As a Logistics Coordinator, I could often work from home a few days. It's nice not to be in the Atlanta, GA office every day, making that work-life balance feel more achievable.
Cons: Sometimes, during peak shipping seasons, you get slammed with extra hours. It's tough when freight forwarding issues pop up late in the day. You really can't disconnect completely then, which impacts personal time.
Advice to Management: Try to staff better for peak seasons to reduce the pressure on individual employees and prevent burnout in the supply chain operations.

CEVA Logistics: Decent If You Manage Expectations
Pros: I appreciated the stability working for a big corporate global logistics company. My managers were usually understanding when I had appointments. For onsite logistics roles, it's not a bad gig, usually standard 40-hour weeks.
Cons: Sometimes peak season for freight forwarding means really long days. You can get stuck doing a lot of overtime if you're not careful. Work-life balance often gets tough with unexpected client demands, especially in this industry.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workload during peak seasons to prevent burnout. More staff might help with unexpected demand spikes.
