Solid Company with Flexible Options for Engineers
Pros: As a Project Engineer, I really value the hybrid work flexibility at Worley. It's great for balancing life. The engineering and construction projects are challenging and rewarding, offering good professional development. My colleagues are supportive, making it a positive environment in the energy sector.
Cons: Promotion can be slow sometimes. Being a large, global company, internal communication isn't always super efficient, and project demands lead to occasional intense periods. Streamlining some processes would help.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining internal approval processes and clearly outlining career progression paths for Project Engineers.

Solid Company with Good Projects and Growth
Pros: Worley is a great place to learn and develop as a Project Engineer. I've enjoyed working on challenging projects in the energy industry alongside really supportive colleagues. The company culture is pretty collaborative, and there's a strong focus on professional growth and job security. The pay and benefits are competitive, which is good.
Cons: However, the promotion path can sometimes feel a bit slow. Also, getting approvals through internal processes can be cumbersome due to the large company size. Communication from top leadership could be more consistent, too.

Solid Engineering Role with Growth Potential
Pros: Worley offers great stability for an engineering firm in the energy sector. As a Senior Process Engineer in Houston, I value the collaborative environment and the interesting projects. The technical challenges keep you engaged, and there are good opportunities for learning and skill development with supportive colleagues.
Cons: Promotions can be slow due to the large global structure, and internal approval processes sometimes cause minor delays. While work-life balance is generally good, occasional busy periods can pop up.
Advice to Management: Streamline the promotion process and reduce some of the bureaucratic steps to empower teams more. Improving communication around career progression paths would also be beneficial.
