- Job Profile
- Key Objectives
- Budgetary and firm proposal making for enquiries at respective stages.
- Co-ordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs, align strategies, and ensure accurate and comprehensive proposals.
- Establish effective communication channels with external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors, to address their requirements and incorporate their feedback in the proposal development process.
- Ensure on time delivery as per agreed timelines.
- Major Deliverables
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive review of tender documents.
- Understanding detailed scope, preparation of pre-bid queries, site visits and participating in pre-bid meeting.
- Prepare cost estimates in accordance with the proposal scope of supply and services.
- Prepare and submit bidding documents, track bid status, conduct competition analysis, and follow up with customers for clarifications and deviations.
- Create a database of various technical requirements of tenders and develop standardized offerings based on OEM inputs.
- Understanding and drafting response to client’s commercial points
- Active involvement in commercial / contractual discussions/negotiations with client
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate with client/stakeholders effectively.
- Preference for experience with EPC organizations in O&G & Power.

- Critical Competencies and Essential Attributes
- Collaborating seamless with other functions (engineering, procurement, legal, sales etc.).
- Contracting and negotiation skills, strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment handling multiple projects.
- Proven experience of cost estimation, bid documentation & proposal finalization for large size EPC projects/ Engineered equipment’s.

- Minimum Years of Experience in relevant role
6 years
BE/ BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Desired type of Experience
Following skills are preferred but not mandatory:
- Experience of preparing Green Hydrogen proposals, balance of stack estimation/costing.
- Understanding of various electrolysis technologies will be added advantage.
- Proposal making for EPC/ BOO projects for O&G or Power sector.
- Experience of both proposal and detail engineering for a project/ sector.
