Role Summary
Responsible for supporting the reliability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of a national-scale transaction and integration platform. The role requires strong technical expertise across platform engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, integration technologies, databases, and modern platform architectures. The successful candidate will contribute to platform evolution, major releases, troubleshooting, automation initiatives, and technology implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation, enhancement, and continuous improvement of a national-scale transaction and integration platform.
- Participate in application deployments, upgrades, releases, and platform enhancements.
- Contribute to automation, CI/CD, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support root cause analysis.
- Contribute to platform architecture, scalability, resilience, availability, performance, and security improvements.
- Monitor platform health, availability, and performance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to platform modernization and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical expertise across application, integration, and platform technologies to support major initiatives and complex implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), application administration, or related technical roles.
- Experience delivering and operating production applications, with an understanding of the full application lifecycle from development and deployment through production operations and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, release management, and platform reliability.
- Strong understanding of database technologies and concepts such as schema design, indexing, partitioning, performance optimization, and data lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of modern platform technologies, including integration and messaging platforms, search and observability solutions, object storage, caching technologies, container platforms, and cloud services.
- Understanding of networking, load balancing, authentication, authorization, and API security concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
