About The Role

Job Title: L2 Network Voice Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Must-Have Skills

  • 5+ years enterprise UC/voice support with hands-on Microsoft Teams Calling — voice/routing policies, Direct Routing, SBC configuration, and Teams Phone licensing in a large production environment
  • Strong SIP and PSTN troubleshooting — call routing failures, SIP signaling, media flow analysis, and cloud-to-on-premises voice interoperability
  • Cisco CUCM operational support — Call Manager, Unity Connection, Expressway, and analog gateway/SBC integrations during active migration coexistence period
  • Integrated voice services experience — E911, Auto Attendants, call recording, contact center platforms, and Teams-certified conference room endpoint management
  • QoS and voice quality troubleshooting — jitter, packet loss, latency analysis and end-to-end call path diagnostics using Microsoft networking best practices

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Cisco CUCM to Microsoft Teams Calling migration — readiness assessments, coexistence configuration, cutover execution, and post-migration stabilization
  • Specialist voice integration familiarity — Eleveo call recording, OpenText XMediusFax, Singlewire Informacast paging, or VistaPoint attendant console
  • Manufacturing or large multi-site enterprise background — production-sensitive change windows and globally distributed workforce support
  • PowerShell scripting for Teams Voice — automating MACD tasks, voice policy assignments, and operational monitoring at scale
  • MS-720 (Microsoft Teams Voice) or Cisco Collaboration certification
