At SHL, we're looking for a talented
Application Support Engineer to play a key role in supporting the SHL Assessment Platform. In this position, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting application issues, performing detailed root cause analyses, documenting solutions, and communicating findings across our global teams. You'll also contribute to ongoing improvements in platform quality and reliability, working closely with colleagues worldwide to deliver a seamless customer experience.

What You'll Do
- Provide application support for the SHL Assessment Platform, primarily supporting the AMS region.
- Own and manage customer-reported issues through to successful resolution.
- Log and track defects, enhancements, and improvement opportunities within an Agile development environment.
- Partner with Development, QA, Commercial, Client Support, and Leadership teams to optimize, automate, and improve operational processes.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MSSQL or MySQL.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and customer-facing environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications and web services.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
