Great Place for Career Development in HR Tech
Pros: SHL offers solid learning opportunities for a Talent Consultant in HR tech. I've gained valuable experience, and colleagues are very supportive. The company culture is collaborative, and it's a stable environment, which helps with job security.
Cons: Promotions can feel slow sometimes. Also, communication across global teams needs improvement, and some internal approval processes can be a bit clunky, slowing down project work.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining internal promotion paths and ensure consistent communication across global teams to improve efficiency. Streamlining approval processes would also greatly benefit project execution.

Pay is okay, benefits could be better
Pros: For a remote Client Success Manager, the base salary felt decent to start. The health insurance wasn't terrible, which is always a plus. They do offer some mental wellness resources.
Cons: Raises were pretty small, not keeping up with inflation or market rates in the HR tech industry. The bonus structure for Client Success roles wasn't very transparent or achievable. Also, the 401k match was pretty standard, nothing to write home about.
Advice to Management: Review compensation across all levels, especially for Client Success roles. Be more transparent about bonus targets and increase the 401k match to truly compete for talent.

Cons: The company culture feels a bit outdated, like it's stuck in the past. There isn't much recognition for new ideas, and sometimes it feels like leadership doesn't really listen to feedback. This makes it tough for innovation.
Advice to Management: Really listen to employee feedback and encourage innovation. Update the overall culture to be more dynamic and rewarding for new ideas.
