Job Description
Support Checkmarx Global Services and customers by performing security-focused code reviews, running SAST using the Checkmarx platform, creating proofs-of-concept for exploitable findings, and advising development teams on remediation and secure coding practices. Hybrid role with occasional international travel (<10%).
Required Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Responsibilities
- Conduct security-focused static code analysis across multiple languages and frameworks using the Checkmarx platform.
- Support customer AppSec and development teams with mitigation strategies and remediation guidance for identified vulnerabilities.
- Create proofs-of-concept to demonstrate exploitability where required.
- Assist in deeper application analysis and triage when needed and help integrate SAST into customer CI/CD pipelines.
- Produce clear technical reports and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or another highly technical scientific discipline.
- 3+ years experience in development using one or more high-level programming languages like Java, .NET, JavaScript, Go, Python, etc.
- 3+ years experience in security-focused code review covering AppSec frameworks (OWASP Web/API/Mobile Top 10, PCI-DSS, etc.).
- A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to pick up technical concepts rapidly.
- Highly motivated self-starter; fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
