Job Description
Role: Endpoint Security SME. Responsible for endpoint security design, implementation, management and incident response across Windows, Linux and Unix environments. Lead endpoint solution commissioning, policy & exception management, integration with AD/IAM/SIEM, automation using scripting and SOAR, daily operational checks, audits, patching and compliance. Serve as escalation for L1/L2 teams, coordinate OEM TAC support and produce technical documentation and runbooks.
Required Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree (full-time) in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
Certifications
- McAfee ePO Professional
- Trellix product cert (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Commission, configure and manage endpoint security solutions; maintain policies, exceptions and capacity.
- Monitor endpoint health and proactively isolate events using network monitoring tools.
- Investigate, isolate and resolve endpoint security incidents; perform RCA and evidence handling.
- Integrate endpoint solutions with AD, IAM, SIEM and SOAR; automate workflows via REST APIs / SDKs / scripts.
- Perform packet captures, traffic analysis and advanced troubleshooting across OSI layers.
- Coordinate with OEMs for TAC, RMA and reconfiguration; manage patching and upgrades per compliance.
- Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, as-built diagrams and knowledgebase entries in ITSM.
- Lead and mentor L1 engineers; ensure SLA ticket closure and regular SLA reporting.
