Jayco Newcastle and Hunter Valley Modular Homes are looking for a dynamic Financial Controller to do exactly that.

You enjoy being at the centre of the action.

You're commercially minded and naturally curious about how a business operates. You don't just want to report on the numbers.You want to understand what is driving them, contribute ideas, and help influence better business outcomes.

But you also know that strong commercial decisions are built on strong foundations. You’re practical enough to roll up your sleeves and make sure the fundamentals are done exceptionally well.

You'll bring structure, leadership and commercial thinking to the operation. You'll keep the engine room running smoothly while providing the information, insight and support leaders need to make confident business decisions.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the day-to-day finance and administration operations across two businesses
• Managing month-end processes, reporting, reconciliations and financial controls
• Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and compliance activities
• Leading, mentoring and supporting a finance and administration team
• Partnering with leaders across the business to provide commercial insights and financial guidance
• Reviewing and improving systems, processes and reporting capabilities
• Managing budgeting, forecasting and cashflow activities
• Ensuring the business maintains strong financial governance and operational discipline

You

• Hold a CPA/CA qualification, or working towards one.
• Are an experienced Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Finance & Administration Manager
• Commercially savvy and confident working alongside business owners and operational leaders
• A natural leader who enjoys developing people and building high-performing teams
• Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting involved when required
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and process-driven
• A strong communicator who can build credibility across all levels of the business
• Someone who brings energy, initiative and a genuine desire to improve how things are done
