The Role
We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer (Junior/Mid-Level) to join our growing engineering team. You will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our core product. You will have the opportunity to turn product vision into high-quality, scalable code. You will collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, designers, and other engineers to build features that solve real-world problems for our users.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, and reliable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and robustness.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to enhance performance and improve the user experience.
- Contribute to technical documentation to ensure systems are well-understood and maintainable.
- Assist in deploying applications and monitoring their performance in a production environment.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Junior level: 0 - 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Middle level: 2 - 3+ years of professional experience with increasing ownership of technical tasks.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Python.
- Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte).
- Experience with building and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Exposure to container technologies like Docker, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Previous experience in a product-focused company or startup environment.
