We are looking for a seasoned Piping Engineering Lead to play a key role in delivering ESSA’s Project - a strategic initiative shaping the future of energy. This role will lead the end-to-end piping engineering scope, ensuring safety, reliability, and high-quality design and execution from FEED through commissioning, and beyond lead to operational support. And will work closely with EPC contractors, licensors, and cross-functional teams, bringing strong technical judgment and leadership to drive efficient and constructible solutions.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering
- 20+ years of experience in piping engineering, with 5–7 years in a lead role
- Strong exposure to oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or ammonia projects
- Proven track record across FEED, EPC execution, and construction phases
- Solid understanding of ASME/API codes and piping design principles
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Caesar II
- Experience in HAZOP/HAZID participation
- Familiar with various materials: CS, LAS, SS, Inconel, Incoloy, Monel, etc.
- Knowledge of fabrication practices: PWHT, impact testing, forming, rolling
- Strong capability in cross-discipline coordination and EPC/vendor interface
- Experience in ITB preparation and bid evaluation is a plus
- Familiar with SMK3 and ISO 14001 compliance
- Practical understanding of constructability and reliability principles is advantageous
Job Responsibilities
- Lead piping engineering activities across FEED, EPC, construction, and commissioning phases
- Drive development and review of key engineering deliverables (standards, specifications, PMS, BEDD)
- Ensure all piping designs comply with technical, safety, and quality standards
- Review and validate layouts, isometrics, and stress analysis (Caesar II)
- Lead and participate in 3D model reviews, HAZOP/HAZID, and constructability reviews
- Coordinate closely with licensors, EPC contractors, and vendors on technical matters
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, civil, and E&I teams to ensure aligned design and execution
- Provide leadership to piping engineers and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
- Support fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities on site
- Oversee as-built documentation and project handover
- Champion a safety-first culture in all engineering and site activities
