Okay for entry-level, but growth is slow
Pros: You learn a lot about site management and daily operations on construction projects. As a Site Engineer, I got direct exposure. The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is generally supportive for new hires. It's a stable, mid-sized construction company.
Cons: Career growth here is tough. There aren't many clear paths for advancement for construction roles past a certain point. The company doesn't invest much in professional development or external training. Annual performance reviews feel like a formality, not a growth plan.
Advice to Management: Invest in clearer career progression plans and a proper training budget for employees. This would really help retain talent, especially for crucial construction roles like Site Engineers. Show more
