Optimizely is okay, but career growth stalls
Pros: As an Account Executive, the sales training around digital experience platform solutions was solid. It's a great place to learn about A/B testing and the experimentation space, especially for junior sales roles. The remote work flexibility also made my day-to-day easy.
Cons: For career growth, it felt pretty stagnant. There aren't many clear paths for advancement if you're not in a specific senior track, especially for Account Managers like me. Getting real mentorship or professional development felt like pulling teeth from leadership.
Advice to Management: Management needs to develop clearer career progression frameworks and internal promotion opportunities beyond just hitting sales quotas. Invest in employee development across the board.

Good remote work for engineering roles
Pros: As a Software Engineer, the remote work options are really good. I've been WFH from the start, which makes life easy. It's a solid benefit for anyone in the tech industry.
Cons: Sometimes, collaborating across time zones can be a bit tough for global teams. It's not always easy to schedule meetings when people are in different regions. There's less spontaneous interaction, too.
Advice to Management: Keep pushing for flexible solutions to timezone challenges. Encourage more asynchronous communication tools for global teams.

Career Growth is What You Make It Here
Pros: As a Product Marketing Manager, I had good chances to own projects and really dig into the experimentation platform. It's a solid mid-sized tech company if you're proactive and like working on A/B testing software. There's a lot to learn if you're willing to teach yourself new skills.
Cons: Formal career paths aren't super clear for product roles; you kind of have to carve your own way forward. There isn't much structured mentorship for career growth, so it's on you to network and push for promotions. Remote from Texas, I sometimes felt a bit out of the loop on big internal moves affecting my team.
Advice to Management: Management should create more structured development plans and a clearer path for internal promotions, especially for senior individual contributor roles. Invest in formal mentorship programs for employees.
