Pros: The teams are really collaborative. As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, I've learned a ton about sustainable design from my colleagues. It's a supportive environment in the London office, which is nice.
Cons: Sometimes the culture feels a bit too focused on deadlines. Work-life balance can suffer for some MEP engineering projects. There's not always a clear push for employee well-being from the top.

Pros: I've found the work-life balance here is generally good for a Structural Engineer. We get pretty flexible hours and the London office encourages using the hybrid model. You can usually keep to 40-hour weeks outside of major project deadlines.
Cons: The biggest issue is crunch times when client demands are high; those can make for some long weeks. It feels like senior management sometimes expects more, which impacts overall work flexibility. It's tough to fully disconnect sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage client expectations and resource allocation, especially during peak periods. Empower team leads more to push back on unrealistic deadlines to protect the team's work-life balance.
