Pros: As a Field Service Engineer, I appreciated the chance to work with complex UPS solutions and power systems. The hands-on experience in industrial automation was really valuable. You get to travel a bit, which can be a pro for some.
Cons: Leadership here can be pretty disconnected from day-to-day operations. There's often a lack of clear direction, especially for the Dallas office team. Decisions feel top-down without much input from those on the ground.
Advice to Management: Upper management really needs to connect more with the teams doing the actual work, especially Field Service Engineers. More transparency and less micromanagement from afar would help. Listen to feedback from the local offices like Dallas, it's crucial.
