Hybrid model works, but could be smoother
Pros: The hybrid work model is a lifesaver. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, I really appreciate being able to split my time between home and the San Francisco office. It makes managing personal appointments much easier. This kind of flexibility is great for a mid-sized tech company.
Cons: Sometimes the in-office team forgets about those of us remote. It's tough when meeting invites only go out last minute or key decisions happen without enough virtual input. Better tools for asynchronous communication would help.
Advice to Management: Try to integrate remote and hybrid employees better into discussions. Invest in more robust virtual collaboration tools.

Decent Flexibility for Some Roles, Not All
Pros: As a Junior Software Developer, I had some solid flexibility with the hybrid model. You could usually WFH two days a week, which was a huge plus for my commute. It made a real difference for work-life balance.
Cons: The remote work option isn't really there for new hires or if your team wasn't set up for it. Sometimes getting project approvals for WFH felt like pulling teeth, especially in the San Francisco office. It felt a bit inconsistent across departments.
Advice to Management: Standardize WFH policies across all engineering teams; it makes a big difference for morale and recruitment.
