Job security feels a bit shaky here
Pros: The actual work for a Junior Marketing Specialist was pretty engaging. You get hands-on experience in the e-commerce industry quickly. My team in the Paris office was really solid and supportive, which helped.
Cons: There's just not much job security these days. We heard about a lot of restructuring and layoffs, which made everyone nervous. It's tough to focus on your work when you're always wondering about your role.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent with employees about company strategy and job stability. Clear communication would really help calm some nerves.

Leadership is hit or miss at Veepee
Pros: You get solid experience if you're working in the e-commerce sector. Some team leads in the Paris office are really supportive and good mentors. It's a decent place to learn how flash sales operations work at scale.
Cons: Upper management feels pretty disconnected from the daily grind. Decisions regarding our e-commerce strategies often come from the top down. As a junior e-commerce specialist, it's tough to get your voice heard or see your ideas implemented.
Advice to Management: Try to listen more to the teams on the ground, especially for e-commerce strategy. Improve communication and transparency between different management levels.

Okay Place, But Culture Needs Work
Pros: I liked working on real e-commerce data. There's good exposure to various aspects of flash sales and retail operations. The hybrid work setup in the Paris office was decent, offering some flexibility.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit siloed sometimes. It's tough to get cross-functional team buy-in for new data initiatives. Also, internal communication for a big e-commerce company could definitely be better.
Advice to Management: Work on breaking down those internal silos. Better cross-departmental communication would help a lot for an e-commerce company of this size. Empower teams more.
