WFH is a big plus for engineers
Pros: They've got a really solid work from home policy, which is huge for work-life balance. As a software engineer, I appreciated the flexibility. You can pretty much set your own hours as long as the work gets done, which isn't always the case in the food tech industry. It's a true remote setup.
Cons: Career growth pathways aren't super clear. It's tough to see a path to senior roles unless someone leaves. Pay isn't the best compared to other tech companies in New York City, especially for experienced talent.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer career progression for technical roles and review compensation to be more competitive in the food tech market.

Solid culture for a growing tech startup.
Pros: The team here is really collaborative. We often helped each other out, which is great in a startup environment. There's a decent focus on teamwork, especially for technical roles like software engineering. They try to keep things fun with virtual events.
Cons: Sometimes, the culture feels a bit disorganized. Communication can be a weak spot, especially between different departments. There's not always a clear vision from upper management, which can make things confusing.
Advice to Management: Try to improve cross-departmental communication. Clearer direction from leadership would also really help everyone stay on the same page.
