Solid Place for Engineering Careers
Pros: evoke is a great place for Software Engineers, especially for learning and career growth. I've learned a ton about backend development. My colleagues are super supportive, and the company culture genuinely encourages skill development. It's a stable environment where you can build your expertise.
Cons: The promotion process can sometimes feel a little slow or opaque. It'd be great to have more clear steps for career advancement, especially for those looking to move up quickly. Project approvals can also take longer than ideal.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving clarity and speed in promotion paths and project approval workflows. This would really help accelerate growth and efficiency for the engineering teams.

Pay's Okay, Benefits Are Decent Here
Pros: The base salary for a Marketing Coordinator here was pretty solid for a mid-sized agency, especially when starting out in digital advertising. I liked the hybrid work schedule; it gave good flexibility. The 401k match was also a decent perk.
Cons: The health insurance plans felt a bit pricey, and the PTO wasn't as generous as other healthcare marketing companies. There isn't much room for huge bonuses in this role, which can be tough.
Advice to Management: Review the health benefit costs and consider offering more competitive PTO for all roles, especially for agency roles like mine.
