Okay place, but growth isn't guaranteed
Pros: The hybrid work model is pretty solid, offering good flexibility. You get to work with some smart people in the Limassol office. The projects for the iGaming industry are often interesting and complex, good for building technical skills as a Software Engineer.
Cons: Career growth feels really slow here. There aren't many clear paths for advancement, especially for mid-level roles. Performance reviews don't always translate into promotions or new responsibilities. It's hard to see what's next for your career.
Advice to Management: BrainRocket management should create clearer career progression frameworks. Make performance reviews more impactful for promotions and give Software Engineer roles more development opportunities. Invest in internal mobility.

Hybrid work is okay, but pretty rigid.
Pros: They do offer a hybrid model, which is a step up from being fully onsite. It's nice to have some remote work options in the software development industry. The Limassol office itself is modern and well-equipped for when you're there.
Cons: The 'flexibility' can be pretty rigid, though. It's often a strict 3 days onsite, 2 remote setup. There isn't much personal choice or team-specific adaptation for remote work, which is tough as a Software Developer trying to juggle complex projects and sometimes needing deep focus at home.
Advice to Management: Really look at what 'work flexibility' means for your tech startup employees. A mandated hybrid schedule isn't truly flexible. Allow teams more autonomy to decide their remote vs. onsite days based on their project needs, especially for roles like Software Developer, where deep work is crucial.

Job security isn't their strong suit
Pros: You'll definitely grow your skills here. As a Software Engineer, the projects are pretty challenging. Plus, there's good work-from-home flexibility which I liked. It's a solid place to learn a lot fast.
Cons: Honestly, job security for anyone in this tech industry isn't great here. Layoffs happen more often than you'd think. It's hard to relax when you're always worried about your role.
Advice to Management: Management needs to stabilize things. People can't do their best work when they're constantly worried about losing their job. More transparency would go a long way.
