Company Reviews

BVGroup is an online gambling operator and B2B technology solutions provider. We are known for our pioneering ethos. We are one of the few gambling companies to have our own in-house product and the first gaming company to use LED steeplechase advertising in horseracing. We also gave away £1 million to a single customer in our celebrated Euro 2016 campaign, The Million Pound Goal, and our World Cup 2018 campaign, The Golden Goal. We’ve undergone several changes since 1946, including being the first gambling company to move our operations to Gibraltar.

We’re proud to partner with some of the most prestigious names in sport, giving us brand recognition across the world and title sponsor to multiple events in snooker, darts and horseracing among other sports.

We go the extra mile to make sure our corporate social responsibility is fulfilled in line with the Gambling Commission’s three basic principles: preventing crime in gambling; conduct gambling in a fair and open way; protect children and vulnerable people.

Our operational headquarters are located at the World Trade Center Gibraltar and, with a workforce of approx. 700, we are one of the biggest employers on The Rock. Our ability to adapt to new technology trends has been a dominant factor in maintaining growth, creativity and relevance in the global betting community.

We are always on the lookout for new talent so if you’re interested in contributing to our next award-winning campaign, technological advancement or betting breakthrough, please get in touch.

If this excites you as much as it excites us, we want to hear from you!

Hybrid is decent, but work-life balance is tough
Pros: The hybrid work model is a major perk, letting me split my time between the Gibraltar office and working from home. It's a solid setup for personal appointments. As a Marketing Specialist, that flexibility really helps.
Cons: Work-life balance here is often challenging, especially during big campaigns in the iGaming industry. Long hours are common, and it's hard to fully switch off when things are constantly moving. The expectation is always 'on'.
Advice to Management: Management needs to really focus on protecting teams from burnout. Project demands often lead to crazy hours for those in production roles. Better resource planning and clearer boundaries would make a huge difference.

Job Security is Decent, But Not Amazing
Pros: For a Junior SEO Specialist in the digital marketing space, the job felt pretty stable. They don't do mass layoffs often, which is reassuring for a mid-sized corporate. The hybrid work model in the London office is a real plus for work-life balance.
Cons: Still, there's a nagging feeling of being expendable sometimes, especially in the competitive online betting industry. Growth paths aren't super clear for specialist roles, so it makes you question your long-term security. It's not the place if you're chasing guaranteed rapid advancement.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer internal mobility and career development paths for roles like Junior SEO Specialist. It would really help people feel more secure about their future here and reduce uncertainty about long-term prospects in the digital marketing team.
