Application Security Analyst (AI Training)

Your hands-on expertise in application security will directly shape how AI systems assess, prioritize, and reason about software vulnerabilities.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract opportunity where your security knowledge becomes the foundation for the next generation of AI.

What You'll Do
- Analyze realistic application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and live system behavior
- Classify and evaluate vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic issues
- Assess secure coding practices and evaluate remediation strategies for real-world applicability
- Build and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI to accurately assess and prioritize application risk
- Distinguish genuine exploitability from theoretical risk — and explain your reasoning clearly
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in application, product, or software security
- Solid familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities
- Able to think critically about real-world exploitability — not just textbook risk
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to structure technical reasoning clearly
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
Nice to Have
- Experience with penetration testing, bug bounty programs, or secure code review
- Background in API security, cloud-native application security, or DevSecOps
- Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks or risk scoring methodologies
