Job Brief:
PhysicsWallah is looking for a passionate and skilled Full Stack SDE 2 to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building scalable web applications, backend services, and modern frontend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance products that impact millions of users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications
- Build reusable and efficient APIs, services, and UI components
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution
- Work on database design, system architecture, and performance optimization
- Ensure best practices in software development, security, and deployment
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering process improvements
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Full Stack Development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js
- Good understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Understanding of scalable system design principles
