Visionary Leadership in a Dynamic EdTech Environment
Pros: As a Senior Content Developer, I value the visionary leadership and supportive culture at this EdTech company. It offers great learning opportunities, letting me contribute to impactful online education. It's dynamic, fosters career growth, and colleagues are truly collaborative.
Cons: Rapid expansion means very fast-paced periods and occasional long hours, especially during project deadlines. Also, internal communication could be better streamlined across departments as we scale.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering clear communication channels, especially as the company continues its rapid expansion. Investing in tools or processes to streamline cross-departmental interactions could significantly boost efficiency and employee satisfaction during peak periods.

WFH okay for some, but not all
Pros: I've gotta say, the initial setup for working remote as a Content Creator was a plus. For EdTech roles like mine, being able to occasionally WFH from home felt decent. It saved me a lot of commute time to the Noida office.
Cons: But the work flexibility wasn't consistent. There's often pressure to be onsite, even when your tasks could easily be done remotely. It felt like the hybrid model wasn't fully understood by some managers, making it tough to plan.
Advice to Management: Leadership needs to standardize the remote and hybrid work policies across all departments. Give managers better tools and clear guidelines to support genuine work flexibility, especially for roles like content creation that don't need constant physical presence.

Pay's okay, but benefits could be better
Pros: The salary for teaching roles is competitive, especially compared to smaller coaching institutes. I got my paychecks on time, which isn't always a given in the Indian ed-tech industry. It was a solid starting point.
Cons: Benefits are pretty basic; there isn't much beyond standard provident fund contributions. Health insurance coverage felt minimal. Don't expect any stock options or significant bonuses, even for top performers.
Advice to Management: Think about improving the benefits package beyond the bare minimum, especially for long-term employees. Better health coverage and maybe some performance bonuses would really boost morale.
