Job DescriptionUpbound is looking for a hands-on
Sales Merchandiser to grow the brand on the ground. This field-based role focuses on opening new accounts, maintaining strong outlet relationships, driving repeat orders, setting up POSM, and ensuring stock is delivered and displayed correctly at partner locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Open new accounts across gyms, cafés, wellness centres, specialty retail, and other relevant partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with outlet owners, managers, and staff.
- Follow up consistently for repeat orders and ensure outlets are not out of stock.
- Set up and maintain POSM including posters, shelf talkers, fridge branding, sampling displays, and other in-store materials.
- Check product visibility, stock levels, pricing, and display quality at each outlet.
- Coordinate stock delivery to outlets and ensure products arrive accurately and on time.
- Monitor sell-through, gather outlet feedback, and report what is working and what is not working in the market.
- Support sampling days, small activations, and launch setups when needed.
- Maintain clear records of outlet status, orders, stock movement, and merchandising execution.
Requirement
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or buying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good negotiation and communication abilities.
- Good understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during events (if needed).

- New accounts opened every month.
- Strong repeat order rate from existing outlets.
- Good on-shelf availability with low out-of-stock issues.
- POSM set up properly and kept in good condition.
- Strong field execution with a clear feedback loop to the team.
Ideal Profile
- Comfortable being on the ground and moving around daily.
- Able to sell, follow up consistently, and build relationships.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to track stock, orders, and outlet visits.
- Takes ownership and works proactively without needing step-by-step direction.
- Experience in FMCG, beverage, retail, or merchandising is an advantage.
