Solid place, but work-life balance can vary.
Pros: You get decent benefits and the pay is competitive for engineering roles in this industry. Some teams really promote a good work-life blend, and it's nice to be part of a large global company that has structure. They offer hybrid work which is a plus for flexibility.
Cons: Project deadlines can get really intense, especially in the construction industry division. It often means longer hours and being tied to the Denver, CO office more than I'd like. It's not always easy to truly disconnect, especially when dealing with critical mining equipment issues.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize workloads across different teams and departments. More support during peak project times would help prevent burnout for Mechanical Engineers and other technical staff.

Hybrid Model Is Decent, But Could Be Better
Pros: As a Supply Chain Analyst, I appreciated the hybrid model offered. It was nice to work remote a couple days a week from the Denver office. This flexibility helped a lot with personal appointments.
Cons: For many roles, especially in manufacturing operations or field service within the mining industry, it's pretty much all onsite work. There's not much wiggle room for them. The policy isn't super consistent across all departments either.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize flexibility policies where possible. Look for ways to offer more remote options even for some traditionally 'onsite' roles when practical. Consistency really helps.

Hybrid Policy is Okay, Not Great
Pros: The hybrid setup is a real plus. Getting to work from home a few days helps balance life outside of work. For Product Manager roles, that flexibility with schedules is a solid perk in the industrial solutions space.
Cons: It's not truly flexible if your whole team is onsite. You often feel pressure to come in even on WFH days, which kind of defeats the purpose. Coordinating project work for our mining equipment can be a pain with mixed schedules.
Advice to Management: Encourage managers to fully embrace the hybrid model. Consistency across departments would improve employee morale and collaboration for our industrial equipment projects. True work flexibility needs better support.
