Pros: Job security is probably the best thing here. As a Network Operations Engineer, you feel pretty safe from sudden layoffs, which is big in the Philippine telco scene. It's a really large corporate company, so they're stable.
Cons: While secure, career growth can be really slow. You're competing with a lot of people for promotions. The pay for specialized roles in the telecommunications industry isn't always top-tier compared to other sectors.
Advice to Management: Speed up career progression paths for employees. Consider more competitive compensation structures to retain talent in specialized roles.
