Decent Place, But Job Security Can Be Tricky
Pros: It's a stable company within the non-profit sector, and the mission is genuinely impactful. You get to work on important social development projects. The Makati office environment is generally supportive, and you learn a lot about community engagement.
Cons: Job security for project-based roles as a Program Officer can feel uncertain sometimes, especially between funding cycles. There isn't always a super clear path for internal promotions or long-term career growth if a specific project ends. It's a common challenge in the foundation world.
Advice to Management: Management should really try to create more consistent long-term roles beyond just project funding. Clearer career paths, especially for Program Officer roles, would boost morale and retention.
