Programmatic Campaign Manager

Okay for Ad Tech, but Watch the Hours
Pros: I liked the team here, everyone's pretty collaborative. They do have a hybrid work model, which helps with commuting in New York City. The benefits package is actually quite decent for an ad tech firm.
Cons: Work-life balance here isn't the best for client-facing roles. As a Programmatic Campaign Manager, I often worked 50-60 hour weeks, especially during big programmatic advertising campaign launches. It's tough to truly disconnect sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to implement better resource allocation during busy periods to prevent burnout. More clear boundaries around after-hours communication would also be helpful for client teams.

Leadership is Okay, Needs More Transparency
Pros: I really like my team in the New York office; everyone's super collaborative. The hybrid model works well for me, offering decent flexibility. We get to work on interesting programmatic advertising campaigns for various clients.
Cons: Leadership can be a bit detached from day-to-day operations for us Ad Operations Specialists. Sometimes decisions feel sudden, and there's a lack of clear strategy for future growth in the competitive ad tech industry. Communication from the top down isn't always transparent.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent with decisions and engage more with individual contributors, especially those on the ground running ad campaigns. A clearer long-term vision for the programmatic advertising market would really help everyone.

Hybrid model works, but could be more flexible
Pros: As an Account Manager, I've had decent work flexibility with the hybrid model. You get a couple of WFH days a week which is a lifesaver for avoiding the Los Angeles traffic. It's solid for most ad tech industry roles.
Cons: The 'flexible' part is a bit strict sometimes. Core hours are pretty rigid, so don't expect to shift your day much. Taking longer breaks or switching days can be a real hassle, especially when client needs are unpredictable.
Advice to Management: Really look into making core hours more flexible for client-facing roles like Account Managers. It would help a lot with burnout and employee retention, especially in this competitive ad tech market.
