Career Growth is a Bit Slow at AUB
Pros: You get a good foundation in the financial services industry, especially for entry-level roles like Credit Analyst. There are decent training modules when you first start, which helps new hires get up to speed on banking operations.
Cons: The biggest issue is how long it takes to move up. Promotions in this corporate bank often feel tied to someone leaving, not to your performance. There's not much active push for career advancement for junior staff in the banking sector.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into creating clearer, faster pathways for internal promotions. Invest more in talent development and give employees in roles like Credit Analyst more opportunities to grow without having to wait for years.
