Pros: You work with really smart people on the engineering teams. As a Software Engineer, the day-to-day coding challenges are pretty decent. It's a big tech company with solid benefits.
Cons: Leadership doesn't really connect with the individual contributors. Their decisions often feel out of touch with project realities. It's tough to get clear direction, especially for remote roles.
Advice to Management: Senior leadership needs to actually listen to what's happening on the ground. More transparency and less top-down mandates would really help boost morale and productivity, especially for the engineering teams.
